We love Disney’s Pop Century resort for its blend of cozy accommodations and remarkable Disney perks, all at an affordable rate. Not to mention, children absolutely adore the larger-than-life icons that adorn the resort's buildings, adding an extra touch of excitement to their stay. While it's true that the rooms are a bit small and basic, they're perfectly suited for guests who plan to spend the majority of their time relishing the theme park adventures and anyone who appreciates being in the Disney bubble without breaking the bank. Often, witnessing nearby nighttime fireworks requires a deluxe resort reservation, but the upper floors of select buildings (1, 2, and 3) at Pop Century grant you a limited yet mesmerizing view of the higher-flying Epcot fireworks.
For those with a fascination for space exploration and rockets, Pop Century conveniently provides an exceptional vantage point for rocket launches. Simply head over to the Art of Animation side, cross the bridge, and face the 60's building (building 4) at Pop Century. A well-placed seating area on the bridge offers a prime viewing spot. Keep your eyes peeled for the rocket as it emerges above building 4, providing an exhilarating sight. The Kennedy Space Center has an online schedule of events you can check to see if there are any launches during your vacation.
